Unfortunately its not only "media" - no, its reality. Money of "rich" people still buys better health- even of the price of endangering others.
Unless strict laws (comparing to child abuse) are created in the western world it will not stop.

Chhavi, Piya,
Good job. And for a worthwhile cause, which makes it better.
I am not sure what the constraints for the story were, but if you do have the freedom to construct it yourself, my key suggestion for future would be to take the stories at least one-level deeper and ask more "whys" rather than just sticking to the "whats" and the "hows". For example, it would be good to hear about the motivations, thoughts, and feelings of the people involved and of those associated with them. Nonetheless, I'm glad to see both of you doing this.

Piya & Chhavi - great story :) We need to find ways to make such stories
1. More accessible to people
2. Be repeated often so that they get mindshare and result in action being taken - maybe we could have a forum where such stories are posted and its made mandatory for ministers / government officials to comment on them. Triggers will be raised when the minister / official responsible for that particular area doesnt comment satisfactorily. We could then have these responses rated by users (in a Digg like fashion) and bull shit responses by these officials raise triggers leading to escalation. Just a thought.
